Ryan Foss-Skiftesvik
Ryan Foss-Skiftesvik is a former investment banker turned entrepreneur and now venture capitalist. His first business in New York was actually an Art Gallery where he fell in love with the idea of investing in Humans. It was understanding that artists were true creative entrepreneurs who could benefit from financial infrastructure. He realized that his true passion was helping other (artists) entrepreneurs build businesses.
As a result, of his career in traditional finance, Ryan consistently took active Advisory roles in start-ups. Wallplay: (As the Co-Founder of Wallplay, Ryan held the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Development throughout his time with the Company.)
Launching Skifte Ventures has been an opportunity to institutionalize himself while simultaneously increasing his bandwidth and scope work (support) he can bring to the table.
